I'm not understanding why your insurance company called your work. Was this for a job? If not for a job, then what would you not showing up for work have to do with insurance. Are you sure you don't just have bad credit, which an insurance company would check.
If it was for a job and they were verifying employment, I don't believe a company can legally give out any information about an employee except verify the dates that they worked there. I don't think they can even verify your wages.

yes, but do you have actual proof that work said that???? get a lawyer, they work on % of what you win %26amp; if they dont think you have a valid case then they wont take it.

The company presumably has the attendance records to support any such claims. What proof do you have to counter that?
