False information on P45 & not been paid last weeks wages?

My husband has left his previous job to start his own transport company, his old employer had been under the TUPE for the last couple of weeks.





He left his employer on 02.10.09 but has just received his P45 at it states that he left 25.09.09, and he has not received his last week pay.





Is his Employer breaking the law by putting false info on the P45??False information on P45 %26amp; not been paid last weeks wages?
Not really breaking the law, but not operating PAYE correctly. Suggest he writes recorded delivery to the employer pointing out the date on the P45 was wrong and asking for final wages within 7 days or he will take legal action. After 7 days, take claim for unpaid wages to an ET - forms are online. P45 doesnt really matter as he is now going to be self employed.
