Is it wrong to give false information on your personal life until...?

Is it wrong to give false or misleading information to people about where you go and what you do while actually being with a new boyfrined, until you figure how things are going with him, until you decide if you want people to know you're dating him ? mothers included ?Is it wrong to give false information on your personal life until...?
It's always wrong to do that and it's foolish too. If something real bad happens you'll be the one who suffer the outcome.Is it wrong to give false information on your personal life until...?
I don't think it's the end of the world but I think if you lie to people who are close to you and who trust you then it might not be a good idea.





So I think that maybe you should tell your mom where you're going for safety reasons as well as just to keep her informed about what's going on in your life which she's appreciate but I don't think you need to tell her what you're doing.





But I think you can tell a few white lies to your friends and other relatives if you don't want them knowing.

I agree with DearVien. There is a chinese saying that: One ear will spread through mouths. It meants that if you say it will your friends, your friends will spread the rumour to others. Why don't you say you got a new boyfriend, but only want to know him as a friend? Not sure if it is mother proof though.....%26gt;%26lt;
Best is to avoid answering them if you can. I agree with you as people always want to know everything and I think that sometimes some people ask too many questions. You want things to be right in your own mind before you have to answer to other people.
I never tell people about my new partners, just like to spend time with him alone without people bugging me about meeting them and asking loads of questions
yes its wrong if your misleading someone. if your young dont worry about it. not a big deal.
why would you be ashamed for people to know your going out with him? because it sounds like that... you should just tell people you've got a new boyfriend, its easiest for everyone
