I judge an entrepreneurship contest and I found that one contest submitted highly misleading information to seem like much more than he is (he did not even run the company he claimed he did).
I stupidly fell for it at first but now I figured out that he lied (it is a combination of false statements and misleading statements).
Can he be sued here for fraud (or whatever) or any kind? Can You Get Sued For Providing False Information To Contest?
What did he defraud you out of?
If you didn't lose any money on this, you'll have a hard time finding a prosecutor, assuming your state even has laws against this.
Just disqualify them from the contest.
