Are you penalized for putting false information or facts on an AP test?

tomorrow Im going to take the AP world history exam and was just wondering if you lose points if you put the wrong information.

What happens if you make something up?Are you penalized for putting false information or facts on an AP test?
You are graded on what is correct. They are not supposed to penalize you, or reduce your score. Instead, they are supposed to sort of pretend that false information you wrote down doesn't exist at all. That being said, if you put down a correct fact/example in that same paragraph, you're fine, but I recommend you know the material before just thinking to yourself that its okay to make stuff up. So, don't try to make stuff up, but you aren't penalized for it. Good luck tomorrow.!Are you penalized for putting false information or facts on an AP test?
On the FRQ, you start out with 0 points. The people grading your test have a rubric with them, and they give you a point for everything you included in your response that was on the rubric... So you're not really losing points for getting stuff wrong... you're GETTING points for getting stuff right.
Your not penalized on the AP Test. Meaning that they dont subtract points. They only add points for what is right.
as long as you have enough right stuff, they won't look at the wrong stuff
