Is it ilegal to sign up for a free trial using false information?

Sorry there are a lot of questions in 1, please try to answer them all.

If I sign up for a free trial on the internet, but i don't want to give them my home address and I make up an address is that concidered fraud and can I get in trouble for that?

If it asks for a credit card number, can I still give them my real number but a fake address or is that considered fraud?

If I cancel my credit card and it is a monthly charge can they try to bill my canceled card and come after me with payment in the future months if i don't cancel my free trial? All they know is my canceled credit card number and my zip code.

I don't want to be breaking the law so I don't want to do any of these things if it is illegal.. or if it will hurt my credit score. Thanks for the helpIs it ilegal to sign up for a free trial using false information?
Yes, it IS illegal, not hard to figure out. I think you know that, but just hope someone will sy that it is OK. First of all, you can find an incredible amount of info about someone through a credit card number (canceled or not) There must be some reason they need where you live, so I don;t think making it up would work. Besides, they usually have privacy policies. If you try the last thing, you will probably end up with a huge fee.

my advise? Either dont do it, or give them the REAL info, and tell them you want to stop at the end of the free trial
