What would an insurance company do(california) if you sent them false information about your school enrollment?

You are on your parents insurance and the company required you to send in a report card or registration form (college). If you send in false information and they look into it, what can happen? i know it depends on company policy. Could any legal action take place? Please give a couple examples and a more informative source. What would an insurance company do(california) if you sent them false information about your school enrollment?
This would be considered a fraud and a misrepresentation. The insurance policy will be cancelled and void,What would an insurance company do(california) if you sent them false information about your school enrollment?
This would be insurance fraud, and the insurance company will prosecute .

By the way, no insurance company will accept a form or report directly from you. They require this information be sent directly to them from the school.. and it has to have the school seal on it.

This is how they guard against false information being sent to them.
Are you asking what can happen if you commit insurance fraud? Its this thing called jail! Submitting false documents for insurance purposes is called fraud. You might want to consult a dictionary on that one.......not too bright!!!
