Does a subscriber have the right to sue those who wilfully print false information?

In reporting the Israel-Hezbollah war Reuters and CNN presented doctored photos and staged news events. Are they liable for lying?Does a subscriber have the right to sue those who wilfully print false information?
If you were depicted in a bad light and they had misleading or wrong info about you, then you could sue for slander/libel. If you're just ticked by their bad journalism, all you have to do is switch the channel.Does a subscriber have the right to sue those who wilfully print false information?
They are not, the photographer who doctored the pictures might be
